What engineers and procurement usually ask

Can a dry cabinet reach 1% RH without plant nitrogen?
Yes. EJER dry cabinets use a closed-loop desiccant system. Ultra-low humidity is a humidity-control job, not a gas-purge job. Nitrogen is reserved for atmospheres where oxygen itself must be displaced.
Which certificates and patents should procurement ask for?
Cabinets are manufactured under ISO practice and shipped with CE and RoHS conformity. Intellectual property includes Chinese invention and utility-model patents, plus patents in Germany and the United Kingdom. Named copies can be issued against a model or an order from the Technical resources page.
Can size, doors, finish and control be customized?
Yes. Capacity class, door layout, ESD black, white or stainless finishes, casters, leveling feet and controller options can follow the line, the cleanroom or the bench. Send the climate target, the parts to be stored and any utility constraints; engineering will answer with a configuration, not a generic height.
What utilities does a dry cabinet need on the floor?
A standard auto dry cabinet needs electrical power for the controller and desiccant system. It does not require a continuous nitrogen supply. Confirm voltage, phase and plug standard for your plant when you enquire. Options such as casters, leveling feet and alarm outputs can be specified with the order.
When should I specify a dry cabinet instead of a nitrogen cabinet?
A dry cabinet removes water vapour and holds a low relative humidity — typically down to 1% RH — without a continuous nitrogen supply. Specify it when moisture is the failure mode: MSDs, ICs, PCBs and many process materials. A nitrogen cabinet displaces cabin air so oxygen and moisture fall together. Use N₂ where oxidation is the risk: wafers, silver finishes, copper leadframes and optical coatings.
Is EJER CLOUD required on every cabinet?
No. Cloud connection is optional. Where it is specified, cabinets and sensors can report humidity, temperature, energy use and status to the web, desktop, app or mini-program layer, with alarms and electronic records. Discuss it with a new line or a retrofit if you need one view of many units.
Can we visit or audit the Hangzhou factory?
Yes, factory visits and supplier audits can be arranged for serious projects. Write to sales with preferred dates, attendees and whether you need quality-system documents in advance. We coordinate Hangzhou plant access and the supporting file pack.
Which exterior finishes are available for ESD and cleanroom areas?
Common options include ESD black for electronics floors, white for laboratories and stainless steel where cleanroom practice requires it. Finish, door count and control layout should follow the aisle you install into. State the room class and handling rules when you request a configuration.
How should installed units report faults or request spare parts?
Include the model, serial number or project reference, a short description of the symptom, and photos or videos when possible. That lets the team match the cabinet build and ship the correct kit. Use the After-sales support page checklist so the first reply can be substantive.
What is a typical lead time from order to shipment?
Lead time depends on model, options, finish and current production load. Standard configurations are faster than heavily customized builds. Ask sales with the model, quantity and destination for a dated commitment against your purchase order.
Where is the equipment made, and how is it exported?
Hardware is manufactured in Hangzhou under EJER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Export documentation for international orders is handled by HANGZHOU HCER EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD. Legal correspondence on this website is under EJER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. Offices also operate in Shanghai and Zhuhai. Lead time depends on configuration and destination; ask sales with the model and quantity.
What humidity set point is typical for moisture-sensitive devices?
Many SMT and semiconductor lines hold 1% RH or 5% RH so MSD floor life can be paused between kitting and placement. The exact window should follow your component MSL, the handling standard you work to (commonly IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033) and the time the parts spend outside the cabinet. We specify the climate to the process, not a single catalogue default.
How is nitrogen consumption estimated for an N₂ cabinet?
Consumption depends on cabinet volume, door-open frequency, leak-tightness of the enclosure and the target oxygen or humidity window. We size flow and purge practice to the process, not a single published litre-per-hour figure. Share the duty cycle and atmosphere target with sales for an engineering estimate.
What information do you need for an accurate quotation?
Send the climate target (for example 1% RH or nitrogen purge), the parts or process to be protected, preferred capacity or model if known, quantity, destination country and any finish or utility constraints. With that, sales can quote the cabinet configuration and advise on packing and freight options instead of a generic catalogue price.
How do I request a datasheet, manual or wiring diagram?
Write to sales with the model (for example D1440-6 or N1440-6), the document you need and the language. Files are issued for a specified unit or project rather than posted as an open download. Use the Technical resources page for the full list of document types.
How are spare parts and after-sales handled?
Send the model, serial number or project reference, the symptom or the part you need, and photos if a fault is involved. Replacement kits, set-point questions and commissioning follow-up go through the same sales address and are routed inside the team. See After-sales support for what to include.
Does the website ship in other languages?
The language switcher is in the header and footer. Body copy on this site remains English until each language is published. Sales replies to international enquiries in English.
When is a drying oven the right tool?
When the process needs a documented temperature profile — PCB baking, MSD floor-life reset, or laboratory drying — not only dehumidified air. A dry cabinet stores. An oven dries. Mixing the two jobs usually means the wrong tool for both.
